The EXCON Advisory Board supports our management in all questions and decisions with years of know-how from various industries and markets. We would like to briefly introduce the current EXCON Advisory Board to you.
Christian Ruben
Christian Ruben was born in West Berlin in 1967. Mr. Ruben is married and has three children. After holding various positions in the credit and corporate banking business of Deutsche Bank AG in Berlin since 1988, where he most recently managed the corporate banking business in southwest Berlin, he joined DaimlerChrysler Services (debis) AG in 1998. He held various management positions for the company, including in Singapore, and served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Controlling & Finance Europe division between 2003 and 2006. Since 2006, Ruben has served as Managing Director and CFO of Toyota Kreditbank GmbH and Toyota Leasing GmbH. In October 2012, he assumed the role of CEO. Furthermore, he has served as Senior Vice President of Toyota Financial Services Europe & Africa Region since July 2015. Since April 2024, he has served as CEO of the Toyota Kreditbank Group.
Additionally, Mr. Ruben acted as spokesperson for Arbeitskreis Autobanken from July 2014 until the association's dissolution at the end of 2019. He has been a member of the Board of the Bankenfachverband since 2020 and assumed the role of chairman since fall 2023.
